On the afternoon of August 21, Wu Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, held talks with Cai Xinyu, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Aero Engine Corporation Shenyang Liming Aero Engine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Aero Engine Liming"). The two sides exchanged views on the research and development and manufacturing of high-end power equipment, and the coordinated development of the industrial chain and supply chain.
Wu Lei expressed his gratitude to AECC Liming for its long-term support of Shanghai Electric. He stated that Shanghai Electric and AECC Liming have already established a solid foundation for cooperation in areas such as aero-engine production line construction, aero-engine component supply, and digital supply chain development. He hoped that both sides would continue to deepen their strategic alignment, leverage their respective resource advantages, enhance mutual learning in technology, industrial synergy, and project collaboration, explore more practical cooperation opportunities, and expand cooperation in key areas such as intelligent manufacturing of aero-engines, aero-engine components and basic parts, intelligent robots, and green and low-carbon technologies, thereby promoting the transformation and application of scientific and technological innovation achievements.
Cai Xinyu welcomed Wu Lei and his delegation, and introduced the recent business development and digital transformation progress of AECC Liming. He stated that AECC Liming is an important domestic research and production base for aero-engines, and has established a complete research and manufacturing system. Shanghai Electric possesses strong capabilities in energy and power equipment, intelligent production line integration, complete sets of major equipment, and industrial digital solutions. The two sides have a high degree of industrial synergy and broad prospects for cooperation. He expressed his hope that both sides would establish a regular communication mechanism to fully leverage their combined advantages in technology, manufacturing, and industry, continuously expand cooperation areas, jointly tackle key core technologies in the industry, jointly enhance the self-controllability of the industrial chain and supply chain, and work together to ensure the implementation of major national strategies.
